Chemical Peel

A Chemical Peel is a skin-resurfacing treatment that involves applying a specially formulated chemical solution to the skin. This solution gently exfoliates the outer layers, promoting the regeneration of new, healthier skin. It’s effective for improving skin texture, reducing fine lines, addressing pigmentation, and enhancing overall radiance. 

 Chemical Peels are versatile and can address a range of concerns, including:

• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Sun damage and age spots
• Hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone
• Acne scars and active acne
• Dullness and uneven texture

While Chemical Peels can benefit many skin types, they may not be suitable for everyone. Certain skin types or conditions may require alternative treatments. We recommend scheduling a consultation to determine the best option for your skin type and goals. 

The number of treatments depends on your skin concerns and goals. For some, one peel may provide a noticeable improvement, while others may benefit from a series of treatments for optimal results. We’ll discuss your customized plan during your consultation. 

During a Chemical Peel, our esthetician will cleanse your skin and then apply a chemical solution. You may experience a tingling or mild warming sensation as the solution works. The peel process generally takes 10–15 minutes, followed by neutralization and soothing post-treatment care. 

There can be some mild downtime, depending on the depth of the peel. Light peels may result in minimal redness and flaking for a few days, while deeper peels can cause more noticeable peeling and recovery over a week. We’ll discuss expected downtime and aftercare during your treatment. 

After a peel, your skin will be more sensitive. We recommend:

• Avoiding sun exposure and wearing SPF 30+ daily
• Using gentle skincare products as advised
• Avoiding exfoliants or retinol for a few days post-treatment
• Staying hydrated to support skin healing
